I figured I should give some freshness to this blog though. I've kept on drawing and I'll try to get some images in soon!

Umbrella

Yay I finished the sketch. I like how she came out :) Only her umbrella still seems a bit odd to me. Her pants took less strokes than the rest of her too, so the line thickness is a bit whacked, but that's fine I guess. haha.

Umbrella (Incomplete)

YAY. I don't what kind of clothes she should be wearing. I was so happy with how her figure came out after like an hour of failing that my brain was too tired to think of interesting clothes.

... Right now she's wearing... barmaid's clothing? I have no idea.

She's supposed to be holding an umbrella though, and barmaid's dress was seriously the last thing I was thinking of her holding. I really don't know why I drew it. haha. I feel like drawing some other type of clothing since I draw dresses too often.

Objection! (Again!)

I finished drawing her suit. :D Her posture isn't exactly what I wanted but I was owning the paper with my eraser so I stopped at this. haha.

100th POST

... Yeah. 100th post. haha. Nothing special to commemorate with though :( Although I have a few sketches from the past few days.

I feel pretty confident about drawing people now, but it's kind of boring since they're almost always doing nothing but standing there. haha. Drew this to practice drawing a scooter. Didn't finish it, although I really should for the practice...


Drew this to draw the bunny mostly. I asked Diana for a random object and she said "Velveteen Rabbit," so here we are. The boy feels like a 10 year old or something though instead of a 5 year old. :( His body just feels out of proportion. And the bunny is not really resting correctly :(

Uhhhhhhh.

Her left hand sucks, and I could spend some more time on the hair. Not much of an idea about what to do about the creases without a reference. Already spent quite a while on this so either it's done as it is now or I'll come back to it later. Probably the former. x(

Mostly a study of anatomy/proportions, since I'm tired of failing at drawing torsos. TORSO.

I also need to start seriously studying animals and everyday objects. D:

The only thing I like about it is her face and hair. The armor is an ongoing attempt to cover up her messed up anatomy/posture, and then the armor is kind of crappy and I didn't bother to clean it. x( har. Maybe tomorrow. The shield could really use a pattern, but I haven't tried to learn any at all so I fail horribly. Not even sure where to start :(

I drew this a couple days ago. It's your every day tank and wizard!

I ended up drawing the girl again. Not finished yet.

There are some inconsistencies since I didn't have my previous drawing at hand. Her cloak is a little longer and her dress is only one layer instead of two. Gonna fix them later. Also, the clouds are crap. I also don't know how to draw a cool moon. :(

The picture is also off-center. :( I was drawing a lot of stuff and ended up doing this, so it wasn't very planned. haha.

Brock?

Honestly, I didn't mean to make him look like Brock, but it just ended up being like that. haha.

Mage (Norcrel?)

To be honest, this is kind of a revisit of how I used to imagine Norcrel looking as, with the hair, the staff and the sword. He didn't have a tattoo/marking, though. haha. Anyway, I don't quite like it as much anymore, especially the hair. I kind of don't like how his face looks either, doesn't really fit what I imagine now. I never had a strong picture of how he should look on his face though. lol.

The premise of his story is kind of lame, actually (lots of god-moding), but for some reason I'm still interested in it. The focus of the story is not on his god-moding but on how powerless someone like him can be even with that much power. Moreover he can only god-mode because of concepts that can allow other people to god-mode too. haha.

Maybe I'll tell it sometime, since I've been thinking about it on and off for years now since high school (maybe middle school?)

It might be funny to note that he looked like a giraffe for some time with the markings on him. I tried to change it so it didn't look so much like it, but maybe you can still tell. HAHA.

Oh yeah, the guy in the corner is supposed to be Ginko from Mushishi. I stopped drawing him since the eyes didn't look right to me, and then I started on this guy.

Kenshin

Started drawing Kenshin. I don't think I'll be finishing it though. :(

Also, Professor Potts!

He's one of my favorite professors that really gets me motivated to learn things. The other favorite I have would be Leahy, who really got me excited about C programming for the Game Boy Advance. :P

Haha. I was going to post this up finished yesterday but then I decided it SUCKED so I'm cleaning it up and redrawing sections of it. I have to fix the girl's camisole and redraw the pockets on their pants before I upload the completed work to DeviantArt.
